Third-ranked Muscle Shoals shook off its first loss of the season to pick up two victories Tuesday afternoon. Kara Nix opened the 2015 cross country season in strong form, taking the 5A-7A varsity girls’ individual title Saturday in the Brooks Cross Country Invitational at McFarland Park in Florence.
